Roya Gasht

Royagasht is an established travel agency with a proven track record in organizing domestic and international tours. After years of successful market presence, the company decided it was time for a new chapter — one that called for a transformed visual identity. The goal was clear: honor the roots of the brand while aligning it with the expectations of today’s audience.

challenge

Royagasht’s previous logo, though effective in its time, had grown dated. Rigid, geometric forms, a heavy and static logotype, and an unstandardized color palette could no longer communicate the dynamism, credibility, and appeal of a forward-thinking travel agency. The core challenge was to evolve without erasing — a redesign that emerged from within the existing identity rather than replacing it entirely.

solution

The concept at the heart of this project was the swan, a symbol that, across Persian literature and global visual culture alike, embodies journey, freedom, beauty, grace, and wisdom. The original logo had already placed the swan within a circular frame, but executed it through rigid, mechanical forms that had lost their vitality over time.

In the redesign, the circular structure was preserved as the foundational element of the identity. The forms were redrawn into soft, fluid curves that more honestly express the spirit of travel and movement. Both the Persian and English logotypes were refined — moving away from heavy, static letterforms toward a cleaner, more legible presence. The signature purple was retained as the brand’s defining color, deepened and standardized to convey greater maturity and trustworthiness. Graphic patterns and supporting elements were developed to ensure visual coherence across all brand touchpoints.

Alongside the core brand, visual identities were created for two sub-brands: Visagard, focused on international travel, represented by the Simorgh (Phoenix) a figure from Persian mythology embodying distant journeys and the extraordinary; and Royagasht Deluxe, focused on luxury travel, represented by the eagle, a symbol of power, ascent, and exclusivity.

The unified identity was then extended across every brand touchpoint: agency façade and interior, signage and wayfinding, administrative and financial stationery, staff uniforms, catalogues and brochures, online presence and social media, branded vehicles, and motion graphics.
